BirthdayPerks: Birthday Flow ("the App") is a native Shopify app that operates entirely within the Shopify platform.
This App does not collect, store, or process any data outside of Shopify's infrastructure.
All customer data — including birthday date, opt-in status, and discount history — is stored exclusively as Shopify customer metafields within your own Shopify store. No data is transmitted to external servers or third-party services.
All data processing is handled natively by Shopify:
The App acts solely as a configuration layer on top of Shopify's native features.
Customers may request access to or deletion of their personal data by contacting the store owner. Data can be removed directly from the customer's profile in Shopify Admin.
Merchants may uninstall the App at any time. Since no data is stored outside of Shopify, uninstallation has no impact on data residency.
